Cactusoft is a web developer based in southwest London (UK) and Dubai that specializes in Microsoft web technologies.

We work with Microsoft server technologies to build database-driven web sites and web applications for a variety of industries and a large cross-section of clients.

Company history

The company was founded and incorporated in February 1998 in Alton, Hampshire (about an hour west of London) to develop internet software applications and dynamic database-driven web sites. From two laptops and a spare bedroom, we progressed through a couple of offices in Alton before moving to Tolworth Tower on the outskirts of southwest London in late 2000. In 2005, Cactusoft expanded, setting up a new office in Dubai, UAE.

Our sound footing

Unlike many developers at the time we started, we were not funded by large amounts of venture capital, neither did we have a large portfolio of dotcom clients. We have grown purely through revenues generated and have no long term debt.

Cactusoft's sound financial footing, varied offerings and diverse global client base have insulated us from the instability that has affected many other development companies over the past few years. Our longevity and stability is a major factor for clients with important projects where long-term maintenance, service and support is required.

The future

Cactusoft sees continued growth in the UK and internationally. Our Dubai location gives us a perfect international base from which we intend to expand our development and support capabilities significantly in the coming years.
